Linda L. Underwood Phillips, 76 of Galesburg, Illinois died on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Born Tuesday, December 31, 1946 in Galesburg, Illinois, she was the daughter of William and Janice (Myers) Underwood.

Surviving are daughter, Wendy L. Phillips of Galesburg and her granddog, Lizzy.  She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband.

She was a graduate of Galesburg High School and Brown’s Business College.  She was a collector/bookkeeper who had been employed by Office Equipment, Accounting Systems, and retired from the Galesburg Credit Bureau in 2013.  Linda loved all animals, gardening, and collecting antiques.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Chapter of Sheltie Rescue.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.h-p-w.com.
