OSF Holy Family Celebrating 70 Years of Auxiliary Volunteers

Share

2023 marks 70 years since the Monmouth Hospital Auxiliary was organized. Today, 80 volunteers actively serve at OSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Center and Coordinator of Volunteer Services Jadyn Dwyer shares how anyone interested can become involved:

“We have so many volunteer areas, not just the gift shop. We have mail sorting and delivery. We have patient escorts. On the busy surgery days, we have surgery patient and family escorts. We have three therapy dogs that come in and they bring their humans with them. We have fundraising committees because we do other things outside of the gift shop; we have our collective goods sales, our Lights of Love campaign. Lots of opportunities to plug in and become involved.”

Funds raised through the auxiliary, whether in the gift shop or by fundraising, is given directly back to OSF Holy Family.
