Over $22,000 was raised locally during the Tom Parrish Memorial Golf Tournament for Parkinson’s Disease back in August, which was given directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, shares Marcia Parrish:

“We had a really good time. We had 25 teams and I just sent off the final checks. We made over $22,000 and sent it to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for research. We did have an online presence also that we had some money that came in that way too. Thank you very much, I appreciate that and we are very excited about it.”

More than 6 million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s Disease.
