It is Principal Appreciation Week in Illinois reports Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Our Principals, Assistant Principals, our Director of Multilingual Learners, they do a lot for the schools. While teachers are in the classrooms, there are people that do a lot of work to get it set up and ready to go and allow the day to day running of a school to occur. Those are our building principals, so I am very grateful for them. At Lincoln it is Joe Pilger. At Harding it is Katy Morrison. At Central Andrea Frieden. At the Junior High it is Aaron Sikorski. The High School is Jeff Ewing is the principal, Brady Stromquist is the Assistant Principal, Emily Adolphson is an Assistant Principal for Student Supports, and our Director of Multilingual Learners is Amy Freitag.”

Principal Appreciation Day is Friday, October 20th.
