The decades long tradition of a Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Monmouth American Legion will be offered on Thanksgiving Day. Karina McIntyre with Highpoint Church shares the details:
“Dine-in begins at 12:00 pm, so from 12:00 to 1:30 pm we have dine-in. Carryout starts at 11:45 am. We will have delivery at 11:30 am. I tell anyone calling in to look for deliveries anytime in the lunch time hour like 11 am to 12:30 pm. Delivery orders can be made by calling 309-715-7153.”
700 people are expected to be served during the Community Thanksgiving Dinner.
