The Monmouth College Fighting Scots football team will play their final game of the 2023 fall season on Saturday. The Scots head north to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to take on St Norbert in the Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl. Monmouth finished this season tied with Illinois College for first place in the Midwest Conference at 8-1, but due to IC’s head to head win over the Scots, the Blueboys received the bid to the NCAA Division III playoffs. Monmouth’s game vs St Norbert will feel like a familiar contest as the two teams are former MWC football rivals. St Norbert made the move to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference following the 2020-2021 school year. The Green Knights lead the head to head series 23-11, but the last two matches have been won by the Scots. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Monday morning, Monmouth Head Coach Chad Braun says that their contest against St Norbert will be one of the toughest games they play all year.
