Paul Richard Rudow, age 85, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 5:27 am on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Alure of Knox County Nursing Home in Galesburg, Illinois. Dick was born on March 3, 1939 in Decatur, Illinois and is the son of Paul Fredrick and Margaret Spencer Rudow. He was raised in Pena, Illinois where he attended local schools and graduated from Pena High School in 1963. Dick married Carol B. Sherman on August 2. 1972 in Danville, Illinois.  Carol preceded him in death on December 31, 2019. Dick was employed at Warren Achievement of Monmouth, Illinois, where Carol and he worked for a number of years. Not having children together, there are no known relatives of Dick.

As were his wishes, cremation will be accorded, and interment will be on their grave in Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee, Illinois. A memorial service for Dick is planned at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 10:30 am. A memorial fund is being established for Warren Achievement of Warren County.
