Patricia Kay Archer, 80, of Wataga, died at home Sunday, August 18, 2024.

She was born August 17, 1944, in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of William and Mildred (Brandenburg) House. She married Richard Donald “Don” Archer on August 19, 1963, in Burlington. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2015, after more than 52 years of marriage.

She is survived by two sons, Rich Archer of Kewanee and Michael Archer of Granby, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Courtney; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, William Henry House, James House, and Sandy Nelson.

Pat graduated from Burlington High School in 1963. She worked for Wal-Mart for 25 years before retiring. Pat enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services of Galesburg. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jordan Knight will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alpha Masonic Lodge.
