Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton is celebrating after winning the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Illinois. The Chicago native beat out US Representatives Raja Krishnamoorthi and Robin Kelly and a crowded field of candidates. Stratton is vying to replace long-time Senator Dick Durbin, who is set to retire. She’ll face Don Tracy, the winner of the GOP primary.
