United Baseball Rolling at 12-4-2

Share

The United Red Storm baseball team is in the midst of another successful season, holding a 12-4-2 record, with none of their losses coming to fellow 1A teams.

The Red Storm had a busy week, starting with a doubleheader sweep over West Central on Monday, winning both games handily to open up 4-0 in LTC West Division play. United followed that up with a trip to the Quad Cities on Tuesday to face Alleman, where they suffered a 13-1 loss.

The Red Storm responded the same way they have all season after a loss, bouncing back with a 12-2 win over Annawan-Wethersfield last night.

Head Coach Ryan Molek shares a key step he wants to see his squad take to get to the next level.

The Red Storm will get back out on the diamond this Saturday, hosting Crossroads Christian Academy out of the Chicago area. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.
