During the month of April, the Monmouth Police Department made 48 arrests, which according to Police Chief Joe Switzer were executed for a wide range of offenses:
“We have burglary and thefts; it runs the whole gamut of things that we deal with. Some of those arrests are driving arrests, suspended license and revoked licenses, and DUI’s. Those count domestic violence in there, criminal trespassing, warrant arrests; there is a whole range of different things that we deal with on a monthly basis.”
Additionally, during the month of April, the Monmouth Police Department issued 82 citations, answered 1,641 calls, responded to 18 accidents, worked 18 grant hours, and dedicated approximately 30 hours to court appearances.
