With construction of the new Warren County Law Enforcement Center set to begin the first week of June, a Groundbreaking Ceremony is scheduled to be held on Thursday, May 28th beginning at 1 pm, informs Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards:
“We are having the Groundbreaking Ceremony on that day at one o’clock. Quite a historical event when you think about it. Something that we hoped for and planned for and the population, our citizens, voted to give that to us and I am still very, very grateful for that. It seems like we have been talking about it to be coming and coming, well it is finally here. We will put the ceremonial shovels in the dirt that day and I believe the actual dirt moving is scheduled for the next week in June.”
The Groundbreaking Ceremony, which is open to the entire public, will take place at 410 Industrial Drive in Monmouth, the future site of the Warren County Law Enforcement Center.
