At the latest Monmouth City Council meeting, LRS Regional Director Joseph Swan addressed council on challenges that were faced during collection services in April, according to Mayor Rod Davies:

“Some of their key employees that normally handle routes in the City had some injuries and illness and had some staffing issues. He talked to Council about the steps they are taking to add additional staffing and building some redundancy, so they don’t have a drop-off when there is a different person that has to run a route; he talked about steps they are doing for that. Also, how they are working on their collections and working with two or three different collection methods for the lawn waste routes, and they have addressed it and feel like they have that solution handled with a new person for those routes and be committed to that one hundred percent.”

Mayor Davies informs LRS has also initiated a Call Center locally and issued cell phones to staff to be able to answer calls outside the office.
