Tickets are still available to see Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella come to life at the Prairie Players Civic Theatre. Director Kenny Knox shares the timeless enchantment of the magical fairy tale:
“It is the classic story of Cinderella. You might remember seeing this version on TV with Leslie Ann Warren or maybe remember seeing this version on TV with Julie Andrews. It is a great, great show, a wonderful cast, a great set, and costumes. People won’t be disappointed when they come to see the show. Prairie Players is a box theatre, so you are right there in the middle of things, and I think people really enjoy being that close to what is taking place on stage.”
Performances are scheduled at the Prairie Players Civic Theatre, located at 160 South Seminary in Galesburg, on Fridays July 17th and 24th, Saturdays July 18th and 25th at 7:30 pm, with matinee performances on Sundays July 19th and 26th at 2 pm. Tickets are $16 for adults and $10 for students, which can be purchased online at prairieplayers.com.
