This Saturday, August 15th, the Warren County Bicentennial Celebration is being held at the Warren County History Museum. Warren County Treasurer Danielle Cox has the schedule of speakers:

“For the first about 20 minutes, the Monmouth Municipal Band is going to play. Then we will go on with the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem. At about 1:30, Mayor Rod Davies will be speaking. At 1:40, Sheriff Martin Edwards. At 1:50, Illinois State Representative Dan Swanson. At 2 pm, Illinois State Senator Mike Halpin. Then we are going to bring the band back on a couple more songs. I also want to give a thanks to Jeff Rankin, he put together a really nice slideshow. Then, during that time frame, Tom Best has created a slideshow as well at about 2:30. At 2:40, Mr. John Turnbull. At 2:55, the new President of the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Justin Allaman and if Bus Kellogg can make it back, we will have him speak as well.”

The Warren County Bicentennial Celebration will take place from 1 to 4 pm and is free and open to the entire public.
