On Saturday, October 17th, four highly accomplished alumni will be inducted into the Monmouth-Roseville Hall of Achievement, Dr. Jason Clark, Dr. Bradley Hennenfent, George Hennenfent, and Dr. Ann Lal, along with Joy Boostrom being honored with the Distinguished Service Award. Prior to the ceremony on Saturday, the inductees have a jam-packed Friday, according to Co-President Tom Best:
“We have a program at the High School on Friday morning, where they get to go and visit the classrooms. I think that is one of the most outstanding parts of all this because it gives the students a chance to see these people. We also go to the Junior High and they are honored at the football game on Friday night. Then the program is on Saturday morning, which starts at ten o’clock. It is free. It is wonderful. There is plenty of space to come and sit. We have people who first make a speech and talk about why the folks they are recognizing and being honored, as well as their experience and memories of them. That is always a very nice time as well.”
The Hall of Achievement ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 10 am Saturday morning at the Warren County History Museum, with a brief reception to follow, hosted by the Monmouth-Roseville Education Foundation.
