This Homecoming weekend on the Monmouth College campus, the ZBT fraternity will be hosting their ‘Get On The Ball’ philanthropic promotion. Zack Manley, a senior who serves as Vice President of Programming for the fraternity, explains how to be involved:
“Saturday at the tailgate and during the parade, ZBT is going to be rolling around giant beach balls for our annual event we call ‘Get On The Ball.’ We are just going to be collecting signatures from everyone at the parade and tailgate. Each signature is a certain amount of money, depending on what local businesses are willing to pledge. All proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network. A way to contact me, my phone number is 217-871-1898,” informs Manley.
“It is a great event. We had around 2,000 signatures last year, raising just under $2,000. Any support helps, just one signed signature goes a long way,” Manley adds.
Manley also reports ZBT will move into their new house on campus next spring, which is on Broadway.
