Illinois Route 41 is set to close next week in Galesburg. The Illinois Department of Transportation announced on November 1st, Route 41 at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway crossing at the southeast corner of Hill Correctional Center will be shut down. The closure is necessary for the railroad to make repairs to the crossing and is expected to last six days.
