Alexis Native Kyle Flowers Creates Center for Youth and Family Events

Share

Alexis native Kyle Flowers has added entrepreneurship to his resume since purchasing, renovating, and reopening the Alexis Fieldhouse, a small town community center focused on youth and family friendly events:

“We’ve had some basketball tournaments and some birthday parties. A lot of kids come in after school or the weekends and just get some open gyms going. We have expanded what used to be there. I have gone into other areas of the building that were just for storage and tried to utilize that for the public. We have a secondary kid sized gym. Obviously the main gym is still available and used all the time. Then we also have a turf room where you can train for baseball, softball, or anything like that. I have a little bit more square footage left that is not yet ready, but it is getting close to being full of things for kids or families to do.”

Flowers reopened the Alexis Fieldhouse in June of 2022.
