Katherine Marie Talley-Lamb, 66, of Galesburg, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her home.

She was born January 20, 1957, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Babe and Helen (Bader) Talley.  She married Robert G. “Bob” Lamb in 1992.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bob; three sons, Jim (Judy) Lamb of Branson, Missouri, Larry (Reneé) Lamb of Galesburg, and Wesley (Debra) Talley of Monmouth; two daughters, Carrie (Donnie) Bewley of Wataga and Leslie Talley of Monmouth; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Curtis Byland; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Bob Lamb and Richard Talley; brothers, Johnny Talley Sr. and Michael Talley; and sisters, Dixie Stull, Beverly Nelson, Debra Stokes, and Linda Hardwick.

Kathy had lived many places before settling in Galesburg, including Nebraska, Missouri, and Monmouth.  She was of the Christian faith.  She loved her cats and playing games, especially Facebook games and Ship Captain Crew dice game.  Kathy collected Angel figurines and statues.  Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Cremation will be accorded.  No visitation or service is planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset final expenses.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com..
