Monmouth-Roseville Titans Volleyball Adds Conference Win to Record

Share

The Monmouth Roseville Lady Titans played a conference match against Rockridge on Tuesday night at the shoebox. The match was close for all three sets. The Titans added a conference win to their record after the match with the scores of 22-25, 25-21 and 25-22.

During tonight’s match the Titans wanted help out to a community school district as they mourn the loss of a student due to a tragic accident. Coach Swiler is so proud of how the girls came together to organize an event tonight that helped raise $462.00 that will go towards Landon Cromer and his family. It was great to see them go out and grab decorations that represented the Macomb school district. Macomb is high on our competition list and to be able to put that aside and show true character of being caring and empathic students is huge. As a coach, these are the moments I hope the girls remember when they look back on their season. Our win was a great conference win tonight and I am very proud of them, but I walked away more proud knowing a group of high school students and Titan Nation contributed to helping a family during this difficult time. Well done Titan Nation! The Titans are not 8-3 and 3-1 in conference. We will face Orion on Thursday night at Orion.

Leading stats for tonight’s match up were

Elise Blaesing : 10 assists , 5 kills, 6 serving points , 10 digs

Carmyn Huston: 8 assists , I assisted block, 8 serving points , 2 aces

Brianna Woodard: 3 kills, 2 assisted blocks, 1 solo block, 4 aces, 9 serving points

Natalie Boyd : 10 digs

Raelyn Stokes: 10 digs and 4 serving points
