With the pending retirement of Lew Steinbrecher as the City of Monmouth’s City Administrator, Mayor Rod Davies informs the search for Lew’s successor has begun:
“Lew and another gentleman, who have long histories of service as administrators in the state of Illinois and with their membership in the National and State Managers Associations, we are going to ask them to direct our search. We believe their reputations and connections and networking throughout the state will maximize our opportunities and maximize the candidates that are qualified to come to Monmouth.”
The part-time City Administrator position for the City of Monmouth will become a full-time position with the next hire.
