Monmouth Police Handled Over 1,400 Calls in February

In the recent report from the Monmouth Police Department, Chief Joe Switzer outlines monthly arrests, citations, and calls:

“In February, we made 41 arrests, we issued 101 citations, calls that came into the dispatch center was 2,797, the Monmouth Police Department handled 1,497 calls, the dispatch center dispatched a total of 2,629 calls, we handled 13 accidents, and the officers worked 18 grant hours.”

Comparing the numbers with year-to-date totals for 2026 through the month of February, the Monmouth Police Department has made 84 arrests, issued 192 citations, and handled 3,008 calls.
