As May begins, it brings a focus on awareness and celebration, reminds McDonough District Hospital Vice President of Business Strategy Patrick Osterman:
“May is Mental Health Month, that is a big one with our behavioral health services, we certainly want to promote that. May is also Healthy Vision Month, so you will see some information from us helping promote that, but really two bigger ones that are celebrated nationally, National Nurses Week, which is May 6th through the 12th, and also National Hospital Week, which is May 10th through 16th. Such a great event we can celebrate our employees, celebrate our relationships in the community, everything that we can do to provide high, quality healthcare. We will have events going on every single day that week for our employees, just to help celebrate and a way for use to say thank you to all our employees.”
According to Osterman, McDonough District Hospital employs approximately 550 staff members.
