United and Monmouth-Roseville met for the annual Maple City Cup on Monday night on a soggy Gibson Woods Golf Course. It’s a matchup between schools separated by a mere three miles. After getting rained out in 2025, United gets the victory with a 175-255 win over the Titans. Monmouth-Roseville won the first three Maple City Cups, with United winning the past two.
The meet medalist was United’s Lucas Horner with a 38. He was joined in the scoring by Gage Lancaster’s 45 and matching 46’s from Colten Painter and Cohen Long. Monmouth-Roseville was led by Liam Parker’s 49 and Braden Schroeder’s 56.
