The Monmouth-Roseville Education Foundation is highlighting their final inductee of the Hall of Achievement. We hope you will join us next Saturday, October 17 for the Hall of Achievement Induction Ceremony.
Dr. Ann ( Kellogg) Lal is a 1999 graduate of Monmouth High School. She has obtained degrees from University of Notre Dame, University of Illinois College of Medicine, Residency at Mayo Clinic Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Fellowship University of Illinois at Chicago Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Lal is currently employed at Loyola University Medical Center where she is an Associate Professor, Maternal Fetal Medicine Division Director, Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program Director, Director Inpatient Obstetric Services, and Co-director of Loyola Administrative Perinatal Center.
Ann has served as a member of multiple hospital and department committees. She has served as vice-chair of membership of Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is an active participant in medical research: 16 publications, 39 poster/oral presentations at research meetings, 3 book chapters. Ann is the recipient of 3 internal funding grants and is a mentor to multiple medical students, residents and fellows.
In her community, Ann is a youth sports coach, a chapter member of DAR-Chicago, and a volunteer at Audubon Elementary School. Ann attended Garfield Elementary and Central Junior High. In her immediate family, Ann’s parents Jane (Marshall) and Buster Kellogg and her siblings Scott Kellogg and Lucy (Kellogg) Thompson all attended Monmouth schools. Ann lives in Chicago with her husband Anuj and her children Neveena, Darshan, and Leora.
