The Warren Achievement Center is continuing the process of moving its day services to the former VFW building, but a special event is in the works. Monmouth College junior Jake McGarry says he is helping plan a reception as part of his internship.
“What we’re planning on doing, and what I’m mostly responsible for, is a reception coming up at this old VFW. That’s going to happen around late May. A lot of what I’m doing now is planning and working out details and time schedules, invite lists, everything like that. But the event is going to be awesome, and I’m really excited for it.”
McGarry says updates on the reception can be found on the Warren Achievement Center website and social media pages.
